Why is it that people refuse to turn on their turn signals when they are switching lanes? This is a topic that causes me much stress in my life, and I am finally speaking out about it now.
When I am driving on the freeway, I already know my life is in jeopardy. Everyone’s is. It is, in fact, more dangerous to travel in a car than an airplane!
So, when I’m going along in MY LANE, WHY, oh why, would some idiot in the lane next to me jut in RIGHT in front of me without giving me a heads up?
How about just a little flashing light to warn me that you just MIGHT kill me in a few seconds. Its really the least you could do since my life is in the balance.
Furthermore, how hard is it, really, to simply move your thumb a fraction of an inch to turn on the damn thing? I could understand the lack of turn signal use if signaling was a laborious, tremendously strenuous process. But, OH contraire; any morbidly obese, unbelieveably out of shape person can easily make that motion. One finger! One inch! One — or more — lives possibly saved! YOU do the math.
Please, if ANYONE reads this, turn on your turn signal. It can be your good deed for the day.
